About Bracker:
A bug tracking application. It keeps a database of filed bugs, containing information about the status, type, submitter and much more. Includes scripts for web-presentation.
Features:
- Automatic Hardware Detection of the CPU, CPU Speed, Bus Speed and RAM.
- Keeps a database of applications and components with associated email and saving directory.
- Uses a custom file type with attributes, enabling Tracker based search and display the bugs.
- The file type is text-based, i.e. the produced files are human readable, cvs- and p4 friendly.
- Perl scripts for web presentation, summary and report.
- A GUI for installation of indices on the volumes of the system.
- Order and case insensitive - the internal structure of the bug reports may be rearranged, and Bracker can still read them.
- File Watching - watches the file while edited to avoid conflicts.
- Sniffer Rules - makes the system recognize a "Bug Report".
- Alt-Arrow keys to navigate through bug lists in Tracker windows, a'la BeMail.
- Bugreports included in emails can be invoked by a single click by the magic of MIME types.
- Bubble help.
- Semi-automatic adding of unknown applications and components.

- New bug states: Scheduled To Version XXX, Implemented In Version XXX, Fixed In Version XXX.
- Each bug tracks its own history and every state-change is noted.
- Tools for producing summaries of bugs and to display "type and state"-subsets of bugs associated with an application.
- A tool for generation of (static) HTML for displaying the bug summaries/tables in documentation or on the web.
