About BeXL:
BeXL is a GUI Visual IDE, generating code for standard BeOS objects and for BeXL own modules. This free yourself from writing code for your GUI and let you write code for your application.
Each objects are loaded by modules add-ons.
You add standard BeOS objects to your projects, defined their constructs, hooks and properties and you can see the changes while doing so :-).
The project file format is based on XML markup language for easy editing even without BeXL and the modules add-on file format is open.

25 objects available from the Interface Kit
8 objects developed for BeXL (Open Source modules LGPLed)
1 from a Third Party developer
Included are all the tools and documentation needed to program you own modules.
The registration will let you use all future versions of BeXL but the price may go up so by now. By purchasing a registration key you will be able to save your projects and help the creation of future version.

Details about this version:
You can now export your code into a library to let you use it with BeIDE or gcc. Just point to the Build menu and it will create you a new directory with the library and all the header files you need to add it to a BeIDE project. Just drag and drop the library files inside a BeIDE project window and add the headers directory to the path of your project and you are ready to use it.
Some bug fixes regarding the code generation and the BXLPacker object. The Object Browser bug which was creating corrupted files is gone.
