About BeVenn:
Displays the mathematical union of sets you input.

BeVenn has two lists. The list on the left is a list of sets. The list on the right is a list of items. When you add an item on the right, it gets added to whatever sets you have selected on the left. The view on the right always displays the union (that means duplicates among sets are reduced to one item) of the sets selected on the left.

You can't add an item or set if one already exists with the same name. Right now you can trick it by adding an item and then renaming it to one that already exists, but I'm about to fix this. :)

This probably has other practical applications, but at the moment, I'm using it to figure out which courses to take in university. I make major/minor requirements sets, and courses items. Then when a course is cross-listed or counts towards more than one requirement, I can easily add it to all of the sets I need to at the same time. When I'm all done, I can select all the sets, and see how many actual separate courses I'll need to take to fulfill all the requirements.

Features are missing even for this example, because there's no way to copy items and no item counts beside sets. Also, there's no loading or saving yet. Resizing is also messed up right now.

Anyway, though it lacks the visual element of Venn diagrams, it could be fun to play around with. <hypnotist_voice>Yes, it IS fun to play around with, and you WILL help me beta test... </hypnotist_voice> ;)

Anyway, let me know if you find what little interface there is to be intuitive, because there's no readme file yet. =)
