About MPlayer:
MPlayer, a movie player. Includes mencoder for encoding media clips too.
While the version is 1.0pre3, this should be called alpha or something similar. I had to hack this quite a bit to make this run in BeOS, and there are some limitations:
Thanks to incomplete pthreads, mmap and mprotect functions, dynamic library support isn't working properly. In other words, binary DLL codecs don't work. There are probably other things that don't work with your machine too, post the results in TalkBack, please.

Overlay works only in YUY2 mode, so use parameter -vf yuy2. For example,
