About BeRC:
Be Remote Control is a port of lirc on BeOS
BeRC uses beos specific features to make lirc more usable on beos: the daemon is replaced with an input server device addon, and the messages are received via KEYDOWN BMessages. This is much easier to use on beos than the original socket system.
