About ArtPaint to PNG Converter:
Converts an ArtPaint project file into a PNG, preserving the alpha channel (transparency information). Can be installed as a Tracker Add-On or a commandline tool.

This software allows you to easily and quickly convert a one-layer
ArtPaint 2.0 project file saved by the popular ArtPaint image editor
into a PNG file, from either Tracker or the commandline.
Unlike many image editors available for BeOS at present (including
ArtPaint itself), this conversion process preserves the alpha
(transparency) information present in the original project file,
allowing you to create " transparent " PNGs with an alpha channel.
Such PNG files are very useful in web development (where parts of
the image can be made to smoothly fade into the site's background
colour/image) or software development, particularly multimedia
applications and games.
