About GOCRTranslator:
BeOS Image-to-Text Translator. Based on GOCR. Converts image with text to several text file formats (according to user choice). Works with any BeOS graphics apps using Translation Kit.
HOWTO: Open image in some app which uses Translation Kit, e.g. ShowImage.
1)In ShowImage select text block and drop it into some folder (with ctrl or right mouse button),
2)If you prefer to use File->SaveAs dialog from Menu in any graphics application for image to text
conversion (e.g. in Sanity scanner application), choose GOCR Image-to-Text Translator in that dialog.
Translator parameters for better character recognition can be adjusted in
BeOS->Preferences->DataTranslators->GOCR Image To Text Translator.
