About FlacPlugin:
FlacPlugin is a FLAC decoder plugin for SoundPlay.
From the FLAC project homepage: FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec. Grossly oversimplified, FLAC is similar to MP3, but lossless, meaning that audio is compressed in FLAC without any loss in quality.
FlacPlugin is based on the reference FLAC decoder library, libFLAC++, plus its counterpart libOggFLAC++. The plugin is able to decode both FLAC and OggFLAC files; the latter are Ogg files containing FLAC streams, similar to Ogg Vorbis files, which are Ogg files containing Vorbis streams. The plugin is statically linked and thus doesn't need the FLAC library for BeOS.
You'll need SoundPlay 4.9 or newer.
