This package should contain also sources,
but original link was broken, and added link pointed to binary-only archive.
but Internet Time-machine www.archive.org mirrored original one. Kudos:)
So, very helpful for developers new download link is added

there is a linux version of the NTFS driver with source. go and adapt that if you really want a beos NTFS driver with source. the company that released this no longer supports this.

I had BeOS 4.5 but ran R5 PE for a LONG time till I got R5 Pro... I ran NTFS2 partitions only & NEVER added this. It IS part of R5 PE & Pro. As it stands now there is NO driver to write to NTFS at all. There never has been. You can write to any NT or windows OS as long as it is on a fat16 or fat 32 partition NTFS has NEVER been writable from Be & yes the NTFS drives IS default with R5 PE & Pro.

No, this wasn't included by default (as far as I know). You can't write to an NTFS volume. What I eventually learned was
that you can write to an NT partition that's installed onto Fat32

| Nope, it's not. |

Hope that helps,

Why do you guys want this? Unless your running a really old version of BeOS NTFS is built in. This addon is standard in BeOS R5 Pro & PE.

did this driver allow read/write access to ntfs partitions, or only read access? beos 5, as shipped, allowed me to access ntfs partitions, but a tool that would allow writing to such a partition would have been nice....
